Protect yourself from recruitment fraud, a scam where persons impersonate a company and offer job seekers positions in exchange for personal information.
- Note, this type of fraud is normally carried out through online services such as false websites, or through fake emails claiming to be from the company. So, check the url and email address. If it is not from @minutemedia.com, treat as fraudulent.
- The fraudsters often request recipients to provide personal information and to make payments as part of their fake recruiting process. Note we will never ask for any financial commitment or ask for your personal financial or banking information from a candidate as a pre-employment requirement. We will not ask you to purchase equipment or supplies as part of your onboarding.
- Fraudsters will often contact you without having submitted a job application. Note, even if a recruiter approaches you, we will only accept job applications through the careers page on our site: https://www.minutemedia.com/careersIn addition, no job offers will be made without a formal face to face interview process, which may be conducted via zoom. We will not ask you to download any software or applications, including but not limited to Wire, as part of your application process.
